Revisiting The Amero

February 10, 2009 by esarsea

I’m not sure what’s going on, but there seems to be a renewed interest in the Amero issue. I logged on to my stats page for the BS BLOG this morning and we are receiving massive hits on our Amero post, which I generated back in October 2008.

It has resulted in our busiest day ever for blog visits. Sunday February 7th we received 134 hits. Monday February 8th the Amero post received 81 views, and as of 7:00 am this morning that same Amero post had been viewed 36 times. In the past 3 days our Amero post has had visits from Iceland, The Netherlands, Canada, United States, Turkey, Muldova, Iceland, Italy, France, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Having been posted 4 months ago (and not readily visible from – nor indexed on – the main front page of the blog) it’s evident that people are searching for this information at a heightened pace. A real dramatic spike in activity for our little blog.

Does anyone have any insights? Perhaps one or more of our new visitors will share with us what brings them here…

Maybe because i posted a link to that entry in the detention camps entry?

  2. Stu says:

I don’t think so, because the hits are direct to the Amero post. There are no matching hits to the Detention Camp post that would show up on the stats.

So far, 41 of our hits in the last 2 days have come in through Google.

  3. Jane says:

i don’t know but i think one would have to search for “BS” to come up with this blog easily…lol

  4. Bill says:

    Muldova? WTF?

  5. Stu says:

The trend continues. A new high-water mark for hits to our blog with 140 visits yesterday. The original Amero post has been viewed 557 times now. The 2nd most visited post is our recent Detention Camp piece with 143 views.

And there’s been 50 more visits to the Amero post today, from all over the world, as of 7:30 am this morning.

  6. Randy Spiker says:

    Pretty impressive stats, Stu.

  7. Bill says:

Jane, you devil you! I always thought the “BS” site belonged to a particular musician and his handlers.

  8. Bill says:

I’m going to present the notion that someone out there in Loopy Land Media is stoking the coals on Ameros…Glenn Beck, Limburger, Hannity, Spaceghost Coast to Coast, etc.

  9. Randy Spiker says:

I’d venture to say that it’s more of an Internet phenom at this point. Haven’t seen or heard diddly squat in ANY media I read, listen to or watch…….. just right here in cyberspace. I will present the notion that if this is for real, we’re gonna be hearin’ lots before long.

Our original Amero post has now been viewed 678 times, with 62 more views today as of 09:36 AM. We’ve also had visits from Ireland, Kazakhstan and the Slovak Republic in addition to the other countries already mentioned.

  11. esarsea says:

This is becoming increasingly strange. We reached yet another all-time high for blog hits yesterday with 192 unique visits. The original Amero post was viewed 107 times yesterday, and we’ve had 60 views already as of 7 am this morning.

The original Amero post has now been viewed a total of 738 times. The next most visited post (Detention Camps) has been viewed only 150 times.

  12. Bill says:

I think, because of the bizarre nature of the geographical locations of the seekers, Amero must mean something else in their language.

Perhaps it means MILF Porn or Jeep transmission repair. Or both.

  13. Bill says:

    This from Google-

“Whatever your tastes dictate, you can achieve straight forward, functional design with Amero. Get a classic look with the Americana Collection or jazz it up with our trendy Urban Collection. With Amero, you’re not compromising structural integrity; it’s built by the same manufacturer as Bellmont Cabinetry.

Amero Cabinet Collection…stylish value with flexibility.”

(And I like to add, for the tin foil hat-Roswell crowd: )

“…and your Amero cabinets will be delivered to you straight from Mexico in huge, filthy, scary-looking trucks that are unsafe and full of illegals in the back who will cram large quanitites of heinous drugs in their butts to distribute in schoolyards all the way from the Texas border to Fargo, North Dakota. And, oh, yeah, they’ll be using a new currency that’s named the same as their cabinets, just to cause confusion as they take over the country because they’ve done such a good job of running Mexico, that running our country will be easy as pie.”

  14. Stu says:

“…next we go to the wildcard line, and Bill in Utah. Hello Bill, welcome to Coast to Coast AM…”

  16. Bill says:

“Yeah, thanks, Stu…thanks for taking my call…first time caller, long time fuckhead…I was out in the backyard last night catching nightcrawlers with a wire coat hanger hooked to an extension cord and a pair of pliers and I noticed really bright, bright lights shining in my face from above the trees.

I was about to call the Coast-to-Coast UFO Hotline, but my wife kept grabbing the phone out of my hand and yelling,”You shocked yourself peeing on the extension cord, you gull-derned fool!” But that didn’t explain the mysterious markings on my face, so I tried to call again, thinking that maybe I had been abducted and, you know, probed and shit, but the wife yelled from the kitchen again that I had scratched my own face with the dammed wire coat hanger when I peed on the extension cord.

    She’s a non-believer.

Glad I revisited “revisiting the amero”. This is why I visit BS. It’s the humor I miss from an old forum some of us knew. Sort of like the Bob and Tom show, but with some serious conversation and intelligent debate thrown in.

  18. Da Goddess says:

It’s all about search engines, Stu. When there’s a big search for this term, you’ll show up. Especially because you’re linked in with that one plugin that pulls relevant terms into the WordPress search.

  19. Stu says:

I figured as much…but that post was/is 4 months old and was basically dormant throughout that time, until it just exploded with hits (well, I guess exploded is a relative term, but you know what I mean). So I just wondered why all of a sudden people all over the world started searching it out…

  20. alan says:

I learned about the Amero about 6 months ago. Maybe once a month I search to see if there is any news. When I do a search I see a bunch of Julie Amero stuff show up.
Anyway, I collect coins and have live around the world. To me money is kind of art that pays the bills, so switching currency isn’t a big deal to me.

Something like the Amero needs to be sold to the people in a certain way not to cause panic or revolt. You could also wait for panic and revolt to introduce it as a fix. There is money to be made in a currency switch, especially if your in control of the event. We could tell China to bugger off and default our loans or send them a ship full of Amero and say our debt is paid!!! Don’t back it with gold so it really won’t have a value.

I think the Amero may come about from the ever expanding mess south of the boarder. I posted that elsewhere on this board. Make a trade currency for North America to help Mexico, after we push them over a cliff. Then gradually phase out the US Dollar.

  21. Truth says:

This is High Treason… We dont need this BS any American who supports this supports Lucifer and his ways.. May God help us all..
