The “Classic Kiss Performance” post remineded me of the now almost famous “Shredding” videos on youtube. If you’ve never seen them, they are a riot. There are a bunch of them out there, but here’s a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

I don’t get it! I’ve always thought of shredding to mean that a guitar player was taking his talents to the edge of extreme with incindiary riffs all up and down the frets. The Gary Moore “shred” was anything but that and rather disappointing from that perspective. I guess I was expecting moore, allot moore! ;-) I’ll watch the others later.

Did I fall asleep while they changed the meaning of the word “shred”?

(p-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-t, Randy…they aren’t real! It’s a joke, watch a minute or two of the others).

Ok! I fail to find the humor. Is it that they aren’t as advertised? (shred)

Oh well……. I still haven’t been able to stomach more than 15 minutes of the movie Airplane and that is a favorite of some folks I know. Different strokes for…….. well, you know!

There’s no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you’ll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

You got a letter from headquarters this morning.

    What is it?

It’s a big building where generals meet, but that’s not important.

Rex Kramer: Do you know what it’s like to fall in the mud and get kicked… in the head… with an iron boot? Of course you don’t, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that’s a dumb question… skip that.

I knew I ‘d ferret you two out eventually! :-)

BTW; it’s windier than shit here today. I just got home to find my garbage can (seems these wind storms always come up on garbage day) 3 houses down the street and amazingly, all the trash seems to have remained in it’s “seat” for the duration of the trip. My weather station had a gust of 65MPH a few minutes ago and the Carson Valley is socked in with dust.

Other than that, happy Friday to y’all!

  5. Da Goddess says:

Oh crap. Now you have me on an Airplane tear. :P

Randy, Vegas was windy for a bit yesterday and then the winds just faded away. I’m sure the further you get up the state, the worse it is. If there’s any salt to the weather reports, we’re going to get more. If that’s the case, I’ll just breeze on up to Reno.
