Colin Hay

May 11, 2010 by esarsea

Thanks to a recent visit to I have discovered the music of Colin Hay, the former frontman of Men at Work – a popular band of the 80’s.

I wasn’t much interested in Men at Work when they were popular. I thought they had a few catchy pop tunes, but back then I had much narrower musical tastes. I viewed Men at Work as another MTV act, among the likes of The Bangles, Culture Club, Madonna, George Michaels, Toto, Flock of Seagulls, Duran Duran, etc. It just wasn’t my cup-o-tea.

However, when I watched the following 2 videos I was truly captivated. As I posted over on, had someone suggested I check out the music of Men at Work’s former frontman, I’m sure I wouldn’t have bothered. But having the clips right in front of me I clicked to watch and listen, and I’m quite glad I did.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Happy to have helped you discover someone new!

This week is pretty much all music, so hopefully I’ll have one or two videos that make you smile.
