  1. Talk about a multi-talented artist. I’ve always identified Steve Winwood as a keyboard player, yet he does some really good guitar work with “Mr. Fantasy”.

    I have to say that the Traffic/Blind Faith era was the last time I heard Stevie do anything I really cared about. He was fantastic in Traffic and BF. When I first heard Back in the Highlife and it got huge, I was a bit crestfallen as it sounded more like folk/bluegrass instead of swift jazz-rock. That high-heeled spark seemed to surrender to easy listening and that’s always a bummer for me.

    Extremely talented, gifted musician with a unique voice!

      Yeah, the Blind Faith clip is my favorite out of all of them. Doesn’t hurt having Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker either – love Baker’s drumming on that video!
