Thank You!

January 3, 2012 by esarsea

I just noticed that the BS BLOG surpassed 100,000 hits on New Years Day! Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this milestone. I look forward to a great 2012.

So, is anyone counting down the days until the end of civilization and the Mayan Calendar on 12-21-12?

It’s interesting to note that Major Ed Dames and his Remote Viewing crowd are having trouble seeing past that date from what I understand. Additionally, the ancient Hindu Calendar supposedly matches the Mayan Calander, even though their ancient cultures had no contact with each other. The ancient Egyptian ‘Great Pyramid Stone Calendar’ ends in 2012, and supposedly Nostradamus also predicted the world would end in 2012.

The Cherokee Indians also have a calendar with an end date of December 18th, 2012, which is pretty darn close. Hopi Indian legend also fortells the coming of a ‘Blue Star Spirit’ and a ‘Trembling of the Earth’ (perhaps a killer comet or asteroid?)

Happy New Year, and thanks again!

    Happy New Year back atcha.

I haven’t given much thought to all the doomsayer’s end of civilization predictions. I do have one question though………. if the world ends will that mean we no longer have to listen to all the political talking heads, hacks or the politicians they love to talk about? If so, bring it on! :-)
Might finally get some peace and quiet for a change and have something more important to deal with than who said or did what this week or last.

How will it end? They say that a big chunk of island in the Canary chain could break off causing a tidal wave (Tsunami) of epic proportions (100+ feet). That could conceivably take out most of the eastern seaboard which would include Wash D.C. I’m down for that one. (tongue in cheek……… sort of ;-)

I don’t pay a lot of attention to them either, but I listen to Coast-To-Coast at night when I go to bed and they talk about stuff like that (as well as UFOs, Area 51, cryptozoology, etc) so I do follow some of that stuff passively. The most intereting part of it (for me) is how the remote viewers can’t seem to see past 12-21-12.

I am also of the mind that if a killer comet was projected to blast us into oblivion, just like the Vogons in need of a hyperspatial express route, that we quite possibly would not be told about it…

Not “quite possibly”…….. but quite likely we wouldn’t be told. I sure as hell would not wanna know except for maybe being able to check out the impending doom through my telescope. I mean, if they find out we’re all gonna die by way of something like you just mentioned, why add agony and misery to our final days on this rock. Can you imagine the panic that would ensue?!!!

I wonder where ‘Brother Bill’ is? Here I lob this nice, big, fat, slow softball out over the plate for him to take a swing at, and he’s not even in the batter’s box yet. :-) Maybe he’s still celebrating the Ute’s exciting overtime win against Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl…

    • Well, I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

I just bought a calendar yesterday after looking through a mind-numbing mall kiosk and guess what Mayans, Hopi, Cherokee and Egyptians?

My new Squidbillies calendar ends with December 2012, too! We must shop at the same mall.
