I was seeing all these apocalyptic messages about this coincidental lining-up of dates and times yesterday. I swear, about 10 Facebook ‘friends’ posted or re-posted someone else’s link, blah-blah-blah, about the unique significance of 12-12-12. I thought this was a once in a million years-thing, like an errant comet passing between the Earth and Moon’s orbits.
Then, last night, Janet explained to me that it will happen again in a paltry 100 years.

Since this guy admittedly did this abhorrent act because it was a “holy day”, his fitting punishment should be getting nailed to a cross?
Too much weirdness, that’s for sure. Won’t be long before a whole new crop of dooms-dayers are disappointed when 12-21 comes and goes without incident — the Mayan calendar crowd and all.
