The Bob Rivers Show in Seattle (95.7 FM) is currently running a series of programs called “The Busker Roundup.” Street performers, aka: buskers from Seattle’s Pike Place Market are brought into the studio to perform a song or two, and the winner will be awarded some sort of prize that is yet to be determined.

Yesterday’s program featured a busker by the name of Whitney Monge, and she blew me away!  Although she makes her living as a street performer, she does have a Myspace page, a Facebook page, and an album on iTunes.
